Ferro-Tic

Machinable

Steel-Bonded

Titanium Carbides

Made in USA

Ferro-Tic is a family of steel and
alloy-bonded carbides.

Machinable in the annealed condition, hardenable up to 70 HRC.

Contains titanium carbide which is harder than tungsten carbide, providing excellent wear resistance.

Rounded carbides impart low coefficient of friction.

Lightweight (low density) compared to tool steels or cemented tungsten carbides.

7 different matrix formulations to provide desired properties in a variety of working environments.

All Ferro-Tic grades produced via hot isostatic pressing (HIP) which results in homogeneous, porosity-free material.

We stock a variety of sizes in our most popular grades for fast delivery.

Product Information

Ferro-Tic outlasts conventional tool steels by up to 10X, while at the same time providing improved toughness over cemented tungsten carbide.
